Gratitude 5/18-
I am grateful for Love Notes and McKae Joyner.
Today in my history class, I sat next to this engaged couple. They're pretty cool & they always let me borrow their text book, which is SUPER awesome! Anyway, today I was in class & I looked over at the girls notes cause I missed what the teacher said, and at the bottom written in pencil in boy handwriting, it said "I love you" then in pen in girly handwriting, "I know. I love you too. Just a couple months!" It made me smile. I hope one day, my "boy" will write me little notes. Today is also McKae's birthday! I met McKae the first time I went to Zansabar because she was part of the Thanksgiving crew that was there. Then I got to know her since she served the ice cream at The Seasider which I visited, weekly :) McKae is awesome. She's so sweet and so much fun to be with! She always listens to my dumb boy stories & just cares. I love it so much! She's like an older sister I've never had! I'm really glad she's in my life!
So I am grateful for Love Notes & McKae.
