Easter

Gratitude 4/24-

I am grateful for Easter.

Today is Easter, the day our Lord and Savior was resurrected. With out him, we can't return to our Heavenly Father and live with Him again. It was weird not being at home for Easter. Usually my family tells the story of the Easter Bunny & how he isn't just this bunny that gives out baskets and candy and is just for fun, he has a true meaning with Jesus. Maybe I'll blog about that later. Anyway, then we walk down the stairs, get our baskets, find all the candy in the house, then do an easter egg hunt. This year was weird. I woke up, curled my hair, got dressed for church, and then went to church. No stories, no candy, no baskets. Being away at school really makes me appreciate the holiday tradtions I have with my family. The only Easter-realted thing I did today was make Easter cookies with Anthea. It made me happy that someone wanted to do something Eastery (:


So I am grateful for Easter.
