Tsunami Shunami

So it would happen on the day that I have a HORRRRRRRIBLE migraine that an 8.9 earthquake hits Japan and Hawaii gets put on a Tsunami Warning. WHICH MEANS FOR HAWAII we gotta pack up and move to higher grounds. Hopefully the people of Japan are okay. They are in my prayers.

But BEFORE THISSS!!! I had a HORRIBLE migraine. I've only had one other migraine before and that one was bad but atleast I could still walk around without my head feeling like I was going to expode. This one was ridiculous, light sensitive to the MAX, sound sensitive-but I could handle soft music and soft people, AND QUEASY! Which sucked because it felt like ALL day I was going to throw up. Seriously, I was in my bed from 1:20 to 2, then had to clean for White Glove* then went back to sleep. I laid in my bed from 2 till 7:40. It was HORRILBE! Okay, okay, let's be honest here, it wasn't all that bad. It showed me how wonderful my already awesome friends are (: Marie Pais came and brought me ice, Novelle Wong came and massaged me, Jennifer Ruggles came and massaged me, talked to me ANDDD made me dinner, Then my wonderful friend Kendrick Pope came and gave me a blessing. Seriously, blessings are THEEE BEST! Then I went back to bed and I was out by 8:15. I was just sleeeeeeping away and then my phone goes bazerk with like 5 texts messages. Did I check them? Nahhh. Then people started russling outside and someone knocked on my door, so I woke up, feeling absolutely WONDERFUL and completely better, okay migraine was gone, just not the queasiness. But I'd rather have queasiness than a migraine!

So anyway, around 9:30ishh someone comes knocking at my door and I get up and go see who it is, but of course they are gone, so I ask my unitmate Novelle what was going down and she said I don't know, go back to sleep. But I didn't want to be alone anymore considering my roommate hasn't slept in our room for like two weeks, so I asked Novelleto come sleep with me (:

So she came over and we laid in my bed for like 20 minutes, just talking when the sirens started going off, and we just chilled on my bed. Then after they stopped, errrrrrone outside was freaking out and moving and I said to Novelle, Aren't we supposed to leave? So she left to go check it out and I just laid down in my bed. Haha

Then Jennifer came into my room saying, Alaire!! There's a tsunami watch, you should pack and let's get going. So of course, I got up and threw everything on my bed and moved errthing off the floor and threw some stuff in my backpack and headed over to Jennifer's room to see what we were going to do.

The RA told us to move all our stuff off the floor and move to higher grounds. So we were like let's go hang out with Marissa Elder! (Because she lives upstairs) [If she had a brother who was on a mission, he'd be Elder Elder. HAHAHA too bad she has no brothers] But of course, AS SOON AS WE GET TO HER PLACE she's not there. So now we're just chillin in Hale 2 Lounge. BTW it's super loud and there's alot of people. I'm kind of sensitive to the light and my head is starting to hurt again. But I'll be fine.

Anyway this post is kind of long... Sorry about that. I really think we're going to be fine. It's going to turn out to be just like Hurricane Rita** and we'll be a-o-kayy. I have faith that we will be okay (:

*White Glove- Once a month the RA's make us clean our room, like actually clean it. Like vacuum and dust and all that jazz.

**Hurricane Rita: A hurricane that happened in like 2006-2007ish where everone freaked out and evacuated but NOTHING happened! Seriously, we didn't even have rain. Let's just say we partied that hurricane up too (:
